The Alexander Technique was developed by an Australian, F.M. Alexander in the 1890's, however he moved to London in 1904 to further his career and never returned. The Alexander Technique is well established in the Performing Arts in the UK, Europe and North America and is currently experiencing a renewal in Australia.
Everyone can benefit from Alexander lessons. Musicians, actors, singers, dancers and sportspeople use it to manage anxiety and enhance their performance. Increasingly people with other physical problems are finding that lessons can help them manage their pain as they learn to better organise themselves.
If you have acute Musculoskeletal problems you should consult your GP or other Registered Allied Health Professional. Michael is available for Private Lessons and workshops in the Alexander Technique only.
The teaching practice is at Harris House, a beautiful National Trust property at the corner of Clifford St and Margaret St.
